The 2012 Emmy Awards – The Outfits
There were a lot of colors on the red carpet last night. Heidi Klum wore a beautiful Alexandre Vauthier gown with a very plunging neckline while the “Modern Family” actress, Sofia Vergara, looked like a veritable mermaid in a Zuhiar Murad dress. Nicole Kidman opted for blue as well, wearing a Antonio Berardi dress.
Opting for blue as well, Julianne Hough wore an impressive Geroges Hobeika Couture gown. The dress was embellished with Swarovski crystals.
Sarah Paulson wore a very elegant Resort 2013 gown by Reem Acra. Lucy Liu walked the red carpet in a silver Versace dress while Hayden Panettiere chose a Marchesa ensemble. I have to say, this Marchesa gown doesn’t work for me at all.
Emilia Clarke wore a wonderful purple sequin Chanel ensemble. I love the dress! Kelly Osbourne looked lovely in an elegant Zac Posen gown. Kristen Wiig opted for a white Balenciaga dress, part of the 2006 Spring/Summer Collection.
Both Kat Dennings & Jena Malone opted for J. Mendel gowns. Kat wore a red Pre-FALL 2012 dress while Jena donned a Resort 2013 gown. Ginnifer Goodwin added more color to the event with her elegant Monique Lhuillier dress.
Ladys opted for yellow…on the list: Kaley Cuoco, Claire Dannes, Julianne Moore & Leslie Mann. Kaley, who plays Penny on The Big Bang Theory, wore an Angels Sanchez dress. Claire Danes chose a simple Lanvin ensemble while Leslie Mann opted for a Naeem Khan Spring 2013 dress.
Julianne Moore wore a Christian Dior Couture gown from the Fall 2012 collection.
Julie Bowen who was also one of the winners of the night attended the event in a Resort 2013 gown by Monique Lhuillier.
The beautiful “Mad Men” actress, Christina Hendricks, wore a Christian Siriano dress. Kerry Washington opted for a wonderful silver Vivienne Westwood dress, while Allison Williams wore an Oscar de la Renta ensemble.
Emily VanCamp wore a J. Mendel Resort 2013 dress. Although the color doesn’t say much, the feminine design make it worth it.
There were also ladys who went for the classic colors, black & white. January Jones donned an impressive Zac Posen gown. Jessica Parre opted for a simple, yet very elegant dress by Jason Wu. Zosia Mamet wore Bihbu Mahopatra. (pictures via: zimbio.com)
