Yes, I am back from this summer break that I took somehow unintentionally.
I honestly have no explanation for it. The truth is that I just didn’t feel like writing about anything anymore and for a moment there I almost decided to shut this blog down. Never has it been more than five days without writing on this blog, let alone almost three months.
But coincidentally or not, today I decided to log in again just in time to read the reminder from WordPress which says that today is the 3rd year anniversary of my blog! I cannot believe it’s been three years since I started it!
And also, I’m back just in time for the SS2014 Fashion Weeks which I am looking forward to. Although I am quite say about almost giving up this blog, I am feeling fresh and ready to write again. Perhaps this is what I needed. More to come soon!!!

Finals have been keeping me quite busy so my posts are going to be few and short. I found this great photo of a backless dress that was designed for the Spring 2007 collection of Balmain. What is alluring about it is the combination of the ever elegant black and the volume in the sleeves which makes it so enchantingly feminine.

I am keeping an eye on the Resort 2014 collections as they are being released. Rag & Bone is always a reliable brand when it comes to functionality. Chic and modern, yet very comfortable, the Rag & Bone designs can fit into any girl’s closet. And based on this trait, Marcus Wainwright revealed that this collection has, in fact, no theme. Therefore the universality of these clothes is what makes them so attractive and perfect for the city life.
My favorite pieces are the coats – the mohair two-toned cocoon and especially the simple and well-tailored ones in black, blue and ochre.

I discovered this beautiful Danish brand Yvonne Konè founded by a very talented young lady, Yvonne, who is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of School Arts. The label, which is named (as you have already guessed) after her, specializes in leather goods and accessories. The bags are my favorites as they exude in minimalism and contemporary functionality. Also, I love the sandals which carry this gladiator-themed design but do not come off as heavy. It’s a charming understated style that goes perfectly with the leather, the central piece of all this work. Here are some of my favorite items:

I hardly get enthralled by photoshoots nowadays, but when I stumble upon something that is as enchanting as this one I immediately have to share it with you. “Great Outdoors” is photographer Liz Collins and fashion editor Jonathan Kaye’s work for the forth edition of the biannual style magazine, The Gentlewoman. The issue was released back in 2011 for the following Fall & Winter season.
As an avid lover of vintage and romance, these pictures have pretty much brightened my day. Romantic, gallant, grant and precise…these are the words that define the style approach and the theme of this photoshoot. And how do you enjoy the outdoors? In the most romantic brands, Jil Sander, Céline, Lanvin or the classics, Burberry Prorsum and Tom Ford. I hope you like this photoshoot as much as I do! Enjoy!
PS: I left the text so you can read exactly what, where and how Eleonor wore these charming pieces.
