Taylor Tomasi-Hill’s 2012 Style at the Fashion Weeks

Taylor Tomasi-Hill, Moda Operandi’s artistic director, has been a serious attraction for fashion bloggers and street-style photographers’ camera lenses with her statement style, jewelry in particular. With the fall/winter 2012 fashion shows going on, the stylish red-haired former US Marie Claire accessories director looked fabulous and distinctive as always. One of my favourite looks includes this pair of black and white striped trousers she wore in Milan.

As far as the colours are concerned, her outfits were simple, most of the time matching clothing items in black and white. In spite of the apparent plain look, her flaming red hair lit up every single outfit. For example, I absolutely love how her gorgeous hair completes this dotty blouse and high-waisted trousers combination (Let’s not forget about the belt!). Taylor was photographed in this elegant chic outfit in Milan.

Changing topic, a couple of days ago, Vogue.com published photos from Taylor’s New York Apartment. Photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank captured the vividness and lovely uniqueness of the rooms.  I love the use of colour and the distinctive note every corner of the house has. The space describes Taylor’s individuality in everything she does, from interior design to her own style. In fact, she describes her philosophy of style this way: “Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t, but that’s what makes it fun. I just try again.”
