Hello everybody! I hope you all had a magic Christmas! Before putting an end to this year, it’s time to recap some of the most thrilling red-carpet appearances of 2013. Although I haven’t wrote about many of them as I gave up covering events, I have always kept an eye on the dresses these ladies have worn thorughout the year.
The most beloved designers were Elie Saab and Christian Dior. If I were to chose between them I’d go with Elie Saab mostly because of consistency. Although Dior has provided some beautiful gowns for the red carpet, I cannot get over the downturn it made in the last months. And this is how I get to the most disappointing brands lead also by Dior. The latest collections have not fulfilled my expectations and have sadly managed to transform Marion Cotillard from a red-carpet diva into a mediocre, if not disastrous, appearance.
Apart from the award ceremonies, a lot of beautiful gowns were delivered during promotional tours. I have included in this top some photocalls and TV shows as well. Enjoy!
