Now isn’t this a lovely kitchen? I feel like I could sit at this bar reading a good book and eating lemon cupcakes all day. There’s an airy feel to it, very light and comfortable. And although the design exudes industrialism, I like how you can feel the warmth in this place. I just arrived in my hometown for what I like to believe it’s the beginning of a beautiful vacation, yet I encountered endless pouring rain and dreary weather which makes it feel more like a wistful November morning. It’s not what I expected but hopefully it won’t last for too long. Until then though, I wish I could transport myself to this beautifully-styled Spanish dining room. It exudes so much ease, tranquility and warmth, things that are wholeheartedly desired in my life right now.
We all know Constantin Brâncuși as one of the most important sculptors of the 21st century who had a grand contribution in developing the aesthetics of modern sculpture, but today I want to approach his work differently and talk about Constantin Brâncuși, the designer. Who would’ve thought that the very talented Romanian artist had his contribution to the world of fashion too? Tomorrow it’s Christmas Eve and I was thinking about what I could write in order to be as great as this magical moment. Valentino has always provided an enchanting palette of artistic expression and visual delight, so when you take that and add a magnificent couture theme, the outcome is nothing but spectacular. After resembling the beautiful Dutch paintings for the fall 2013 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have turned their attention towards a seventeenth and eighteenth-century tradition,the cabinet of curiosities. Eugenio Recuencoapproached Pablo Picasso’s work a little bit differently by creating beautiful fashion photography inspired by the artist’s paintings.
