3rd Year Blog Anniversary!

Yes, I am back from this summer break that I took somehow unintentionally.

I honestly have no explanation for it. The truth is that I just didn’t feel like writing about anything anymore and for a moment there I almost decided to shut this blog down. Never has it been more than five days without writing on this blog, let alone almost three months.

But coincidentally or not, today I decided to log in again just in time to read the reminder from WordPress which says that today is the 3rd year anniversary of my blog! I cannot believe it’s been three years since I started it!

And also, I’m back just in time for the SS2014 Fashion Weeks which I am looking forward to. Although I am quite say about almost giving up this blog, I am feeling fresh and ready to write again. Perhaps this is what I needed. More to come soon!!!

Jude Law for Dior Homme Cologne

For a happy Sunday…

I usually don’t write about fragrances, especially about men’s, but this bad weather in the middle of spring has determined me to write about anything that reminds me even slightly of warm weather, like the new Dior commercial for example which takes us to the sunny French Riviera.

As you know, Jude Law has had a close collaboration with Dior for quite a while and this year he is the image of the new Dior Homme Cologne fragrance. Photographed by Peter Lindbergh, the British actor carries effortlessly his easy charm and elegance along the Côte d’Azur in a vintage convertible car. Unfortunately, unlike the previous commercials he was in, this one is more abstract and graphic and doesn’t deliverer much of Jude Law. But, enjoy!

Capturing Men’s Fashion

I haven’t come up with any sketch/painting for my blog and after all my high heels sketches were the reason why I made this blog three years ago. So, I though it would be very nice to update that section of my blog that has been ignored for so long as I, unfortunately, don’t have enough time to draw. So two weeks ago I took up painting again. I got inspired by a street style photo that I found on tumblr. I immediately fell in love with the incredible layering: coat + denim jacket. I though that was very cool!
