One of the most awaited, or better said, the most awaited collection of the haute-couture fashion week has arrived. The Lebanese designer Elie Saab who has turned the couture fashion shows into a royal feast for the eyes, has delivered yet again a breath-taking collection all of a piece with his signature alluring style.
Personally, I love the fall collections better than the spring ones because of the heavier, more opulent and royal looks displayed on the runway. Elie Saab has stuck to his successful formula once again – some may say that these gowns are becoming repetitive hence boring, however the designer doesn’t seem to show any interest in changing it. I love monochrome outfits, especially for the summer. Whether it’s a stylish suit or a loose blouse and flare pants, they are an irresistible combination to me. Monochrome looks came strong last year – I remember writing a post about them, and they’re still around. That comes to no surprise since you can achieve such chic and effortless looks in an utterly simple manner. And, for summer, I’m thinking light fabrics and pastels…

We need a doze of good summer vibes to enjoy this beautiful Sunday and start Monday fresh with strength and determination. I decided that the best to cheer ourselves up is by indulging in overly romantic fashion designs by Lebanese designer Jean Louis Sabaji, whose summer 2014 collection is an ode to the beauty of nature. Floral patterns pave the way into a world of feminine sophistication and delicacy, which is so perfectly accurate for how I feel about the summer.
