Berenice Bejo, “Le Passe” Premiere

Berenice Bejo stepped out for the premiere of “Le Passe” on the 3rd day of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The beautiful French actress wore a breath-taking Alexis Mabelle Couture dress. What I like the most about this look is the balance between the top and the bottom, as the utterly feminine and fairylike lace of the skirt is perfectly toned down by the masculine blazer.berenice-bejo-le-passe-premiere-2012-cannes-film-festival-dress-alexis-mabille-couture-red-carpet-2

Freida Pinto, “Juene and Jolie” Premiere

freida-pinto-juene-and-jolie-premiere-2013-cannes-film-festival-dress-silver-day-3Stepping out for a second appearance on the red carpet, Freida Pinto looked flawless in a silver gown by Sanchita. I have to say that I was more excited about this stylish embellished design than the Gucci dress. What didn’t work out for me at her opening ceremony look was the hairstyle, but last night her ’20s-inspired updo brought a flawless vintage touch to this look.

It is perhaps my favorite look of the second day, as Freida looks like she has just stepped out of a Scott Fitzgerald novel. Impeccable from head to toe.! Love the delicate loose side bun as well as the red lips. Such an elegant look! Easily my favorite!

Fan Bingbing, “Juene & Jolie” Premiere

fan-bingbing-juene-and-jolie-premiere-cannes-film-festival-2013-dress-elie-saab-2013-2On the second day at the Cannes Film Festival, Fan Bingbing attended the “Jeune & Jolie” premiere. Opting for an utterly feminine Elie Saab Couture dress, the beautiful actress looked effortlessly delightful. The key to this enchanting appearance is, of course, the charm of the Lebanese designer’s signature gowns which exude in femininity. I am not a fan of yellow gowns, but this classic embellished design has easily won a place on my list of favorite looks for tonight.

Emma Watson, “The Bling Ring” Premiere

The second day of the Cannes Film Festival brought Emma Watson on the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie directed by Sofia Coppola, entitled “The Bling Ring”. The British actress wore a stylish black and white gown by Chanel. Despite its simplicity, the look delivers so much elegance, it’s hard not to fall in love with it. I love the fact that she approached such a minimalistic look for a red carpet where opulent gowns are expected to turn heads. A perfect “less is more” look!

Nicole Kidman, “Great Gatsby” Premiere

For the opening ceremony, Nicole Kidman, who is on the judge panel this year, chose an enchanting Christian Dior Couture dress. The actress looked very charming in this summery, yet very elegant design. The très chic look was completed by a perfect hairstyle which left everybody in awe.
