Karlie Kloss, “The Immigrant” Premiere

Even last night, when Marion Cottilard’s new movie “The Immigrant” premiered, the stars, including the French actress herself, didn’t surprise with any breath-taking gowns. So, the only one that eventually caught my attention was top-model Karlie Kloss who wore a strapped Louis Vuitton feathered dress.

Maybe I am still under the spell of Great Gatsby which I only went to see yesterday, but this look really works for me! The flapper-inspired ensemble with feathered hem goes very well with her short locks. And her tall slender silhouette makes it even more appealing. Perhaps the shoes are a little bit heavy for this delicate design and I am strictly referring to the heel structure, but on the whole, it’s a wonderful look.

Zoe Saldana, “Blood Ties” Premiere

zoe-saldana-dress-blood-ties-valentino-2013-cannes-film-festival-red-carpet-lookZoe Saldana joined Marion Cotillard on the red carpet for the premiere of “Blood Ties”. The actress wore one of my favorite Valentino dresses! Yesterday I looked through the fall 2013 collection again and wondered if I would see this dress on the red carpet and… here it is. The embroidery is enchanting and the design so feminine, I am very happy Zoe opted for it. Again, I am on the fence about the hair, but let’s say it works…zoe-saldana-dress-blood-ties-valentino-2013-cannes-film-festival-red-carpet-look-2

Marion Cotillard, “Blood Ties” Premiere

marion-cottilard-blood-ties-christian-dior-resort-2014-dress-2013-cannes-film-festival-red-carpet-2Marion Cotillard attended the premiere for her latest film project, “Blood Ties”. The actress wore a Christian Dior dress, part of the Resort 2014 collection which was presented on the catwalk just days ago. Although I am not too fond of this type of asymmetric design, this one works for me. However, I think that the hairstyle is too serious for a dress with such an ethereal and summery vibe.

Carey Mulligan, “Inside Llewyn Davis” Premiere

carey-mulligan-Inside-Llewyn-Davis-premiere-2013-cannes-film-festival-style-fashion-vionnet-dressCarey Mulligan steppted out again on the red carpet, this time for the premiere of the movie “Inside Llewyn Davis”. Once again, she proved how beautiful a simple gown can be if you wear it the right way. The British actress wore a Vionnet Fall 2013 black and white dress. She wears any gown so effortlessly and makes it look incredibly appealing that I wish I could see her on the red carpet every day.

PS: I had quite a hard time finding some good shots of her dress, hopefully these will do.

Berenice Bejo, “Le Passe” Premiere

Berenice Bejo stepped out for the premiere of “Le Passe” on the 3rd day of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The beautiful French actress wore a breath-taking Alexis Mabelle Couture dress. What I like the most about this look is the balance between the top and the bottom, as the utterly feminine and fairylike lace of the skirt is perfectly toned down by the masculine blazer.berenice-bejo-le-passe-premiere-2012-cannes-film-festival-dress-alexis-mabille-couture-red-carpet-2
