I discovered this beautiful Danish brand Yvonne Konè founded by a very talented young lady, Yvonne, who is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of School Arts. The label, which is named (as you have already guessed) after her, specializes in leather goods and accessories. The bags are my favorites as they exude in minimalism and contemporary functionality. Also, I love the sandals which carry this gladiator-themed design but do not come off as heavy. It’s a charming understated style that goes perfectly with the leather, the central piece of all this work. Here are some of my favorite items:

I know it’s spring and I know my mind should definitely not be thinking about boots, but don’t you just love this pair of MMM ankle boots? They are part of the spring 2013 collection. I like how the understated design is completed by this subtle high heel detail that just takes it all to a whole other level. It is definitely one of my favorite pair of boots that I have seen lately.

But, fur seemed to be what everybody opted for, whether it was the classic coat/jacket or smaller pieces such as hats or collars.

This year’s fall 2013 collection is all about subtleness, elegance and functionality conjoined in the same concept, a concept that has led Christophe Lemaire, the creative director of the house, to lay out a collection of mystery. The designs portray the image of an international woman, “She could be Parisian, she could be from London, you don’t know”. I still haven’t decided what to like most in this collection: the understated black and white dresses, the chic suits, the high quality leather jackets, the perfectly tailored coats or the prestigious bags. Without any doubt, I can say that this is one of my top favorite fall collections. Here are my favorite looks: (more…)
