Lady in Red, Céline Spring 1995

celine-spring-1995-campaign-red-dress-style-fashion-vintage-photographyIt’s Saturday which means that I can delve into beautiful photography and enjoy the charming visuals of past ad campaigns. Today, I stumbled upon this breath-taking photograph of Karen Mulder taken for the Spring 1995 Céline campaign. I haven’t found out who the photographer was, but he/she surely did an incredible job. I love the striking cinematic vibe. It is amazing how picturesque a red dress can be if captured in the right moment; and of course, artistic and ravashing at the same time…

Have a beautiful and sunny weekend!

Jil Sander, Spring 1992

jil-sander-1992-spring-summer-campaign-Photographer-Nick Knight-model-Tatjana-Patitz-vintage-photographyWhat’s better than enjoying some good old fashion photography on a gloomy Saturday afternoon? I found this breath-taking picture taken by photographer Nick Knight for the Jil Sander Spring/Summer 1992 Campaign. Tatjana Patitz‘s serene beauty and the ‘très très chic’ and perfectly-tailored jacket are an irresistibly stylish combination and a sheer aesthetic delight for this campaign. And this is why I love going through archives…

Nonetheless, the whole campaign is very beautiful and “oh, so 90s!”, you should check it out here.

Finding the perfect 1970s shoulder bag

Do you remember that post about the perfect pair of shoes which in my opinion were/are the lovely Christian Dior fall 2012 ones. Well, now I think I found the perfect vintage shoulder bag. Reasons why I giggled enthusiastically when I saw it? It’s burgundy red (a simply wonderful colour). It’s suede. It’s Gucci. It’s vintage. It’s…perfect! via
